Kkw contour stick swatches1/1/2024 Let’s see… KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit Features KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight KitĪpparently the aim is to avoid the internet actually breaking though, as the company is prepared for the demand and confident that the site won’t be crashing. The second launch is set to be the KKW Beauty Concealer Kit and will most likely launch around August 2017. I imagine that once it has sold out several times and broken the internet in the process, then more products will be rolled out to create a brand new hype all over again. Like her sister Kylie, Kim is starting with just one product, the KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit. At $48 a pop, she’s looking at over almost $3 million a minute! KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit Shoppers will need to sharpen their internet elbows. This is Kim’s first sole venture within beauty, and industry experts are predicting another case of Kim Kardashian breaks the internet! I understand that 300,000 units of the KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit have been produced and it is predicted that this will sell out in less than five minutes. There’s also a concealer kit in the pipeline. The initial launch, rather sensibly, will focus exclusively on contouring with the KKW Beauty Creme Contour & Highlight Kit. The compliments at work came pouring in.The big celeb beauty news is that Kim Kardashian is about to seriously capitalise on what she’s most famous for within the beauty world – her contour – and is launching her very own cosmetics line, KKW Beauty. I didn’t want to swipe away the shimmer so I blended this with my finger, which worked perfectly. I looked practically gilded with a deep, goddess-y glow after little to no effort. This gold shimmer is one of the best highlighters that has ever graced my cheekbones. And this, this, my friends, was the best part. I wanted to glow like a certified Kardashian. But the shimmery highlighter was still calling to me. I defaulted to my Beautyblender, which diffused all of the color and left me with a beautifully sculpted dramatic shape. The kabuki brush end of the blending stick was super soft and didn’t do much, so I switched over to the sponge which was a bit more effective but still left a color that was a bit too intense for me. I was already sold on the formula, which is extra creamy and applies like a dream. I used the dewier end of the contour stick along my hairline, under my cheekbones, and along my jawline. The shade was super white and opaque which freaked me out, but I hadn’t blended anything yet so I tried to stay Zen. I highlighted with the light matte end first - a triangle under my eyes, a bit on my brow bones, and a streak down the center of my nose. So maybe a kit by Kim Kardashian West, whose cheekbones are so defined they probably have their own entry in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, was a bit out of my league. I wouldn’t be able to tell you if this process actually makes a difference or if it just makes me feel better to have gone through the motions of contouring. Sometimes I’ll hit the high points with the Milk Makeup Holographic Stick in Mars if I’m feeling extra saucy. The powders are soft and subtle enough for a novice to sculpt out cheekbones and Hot Sand has a nice shimmer that works kind of like a highlighter. Lately, I’ve been using the Nars Blush Bronzer Duo in Hot Sand and Laguna, which isn’t actually a contour palette, but I use it as one. Secondly, I know how to contour in theory, but if I’m being honest with myself - not really. First of all, I’ve never been able to get my hands on a Kylie Lip Kit so I figured if I was going to make a foray into the world of Kardashian beauty, this was my chance. I volunteered to test the KKW Beauty Crème Contour & Highlight Kit and write this review for a couple of reasons.
